As part of a collaboration between The Remix Project, Scarborough Town Centre (STC), and Oxford Properties, 15 Remix alumni were given the opportunity to transform a 300-foot wall at STC into a stunning art installation. This gallery space celebrated the talent of emerging artists and highlighted the power of creative expression.
"Enjoy The View" is a collaboration with i3a.studio, where we created two 3D renders that offered a serene, immersive visual experience. The artwork encouraged viewers to pause, reflect, and appreciate their surroundings.
The inspiration for this project stemmed from a sense of experimentation and play. Both i3a.studio and I created two individual renders, but we linked them through the repeated use of two key objects: a telescope and a lounge chair. These elements symbolized stillness and observation, reinforcing the theme of taking a moment to appreciate one’s surroundings.
Since this piece was created during the winter months, we intentionally designed a lush, green landscape to evoke a sense of calm and escape. The contrast between the winter season and the vibrant scenery made the artwork stand out even more within the mall setting.
Being part of this collaboration provided an opportunity to showcase digital art in a public, high-traffic space, engaging visitors with a visually immersive moment. "Enjoy The View" served as a reminder to slow down and appreciate beauty, whether in art or in everyday life.
