Interactive digital mural for Interac x Remix at Elevate Festival; attendees co-created a futuristic cityscape exploring inclusive digital futures. Project DescriptionAs part of a collaboration between Interac and The Remix Project for the Elevate Festival 2022, I was commissioned to create an interactive digital artwork centered on the theme: “What does an inclusive digital future look like?” The installation invited gallery attendees to contribute to the evolving piece in real time, transforming individual reflections into a collective expression.What Was DoneDesigned a futuristic cityscape illustration as a large-scale digital canvasDeveloped an interactive gallery experience where visitors could draw directly on the surface using a stylusEnabled real-time, evolving participation over the duration of the festivalFinal artwork was archived and prepared for print post-exhibitCreative ProcessThe challenge was to visualize a digitally inclusive future—a space where innovation is guided by diversity and accessibility. I approached this by designing a cityscape that doubled as a coloring book, using bold outlines and open areas meant for community input.Installed at Elevate Festival 2022, the digital piece served as a collaborative artwork, evolving with each interaction. As attendees drew, wrote, and colored directly onto the screen, their ideas and personal visions shaped the final result. After the festival, the completed work was compiled and formatted for print.
